Shoals Area Crimestoppers: Thieves Load Up On Prescription Pills

TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WHNT) - Two pharmacy burglars in the Shoals got away with hundreds of dollars’ worth of pills.

Investigators say they loaded up the goods, into bags from a laundry hamper.

In surveillance video from the Family Pharmacy in Tuscumbia, two men, covered from head to toe, can be seen grabbing medicine off the shelves without any concern for what pills they were taking.

However, police say large amounts of Xanax and blood pressure medicine were stolen.

In this week’s Shoals Area Most Wanted, Russellville police want three people off the streets.

First, police say Juliane York is wanted for attempt to commit a controlled substance crime.

Next, Phillip Karl Taylor has a warrant out for his arrest for several drug charges.

According to police, Taylor is accused of ten counts of attempt to commit a controlled substance crime.

Police say Taylor also manufactured a controlled substance.

Finally, Taylor is accused of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Russellvile Police want Joshua John Sneed behind bars for trafficking methamphetamine and manufacturing a controlled substance.
