North Courtland Councilman Among 30 Arrested in Drug Sweep
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A busy Thursday morning for officers in Lawrence County.
The sheriffs department has been conducting a drug round-up. Almost 30 suspected drug dealers have been taken into custody and more arrests are expected.
Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell says the arrests are the result of six months of undercover work by members of the county’s drug task force.
North Courtland Town Councilman Terry Robinson was among those arrested.
He faces four counts of illegal distribution of a controlled substance.
