Missing Child Alert Canceled; Suspect in Custody And Children Found

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Alabama Department of Public Safety has canceled a missing child alert in the search for two young sisters.

Alabama DPS authorities say the children, 1-year old Destiny Seay and 4-year-old Genesis Nelson, have been found.

The children’s non-custodial mother, Tamika Lark was accused of taking the girls prompting authorities to issued the alert Wednesday afternoon.

Lark has been taken into custody. A warrant had been issued for her arrest.

Right now there are no specifics on the circumstances of this case.
