Some Huntsville City School Workers Will Get Bonuses
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville City School Board on Thursday approved a $200 stipend for all full-time support workers.
Administrators and teachers are not eligible for the stipend, board members said. That includes the superintendent, employees who report directly to him, and those who report directly to those administrators.
The district gave teachers a similar one-time bonus of $700 back in October.
Part-time employees will also get a stipend, but it will be pro-rated, said Superintendent Dr.Casey Wardynski.
The stipend will be on the employees’ next paycheck December 21.
