MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Flames have burned more than 100 acres near Guntersville this week.  The brush fire is burning along Hustleville Road in the Alder Springs community of Marshall County.

The fire started Sunday afternoon.  As of Tuesday morning, the fire was contained, but continues to burn inside the lines, according to Monica McCravy, a spokesperson for the Alabama Forestry Commission.  However, there’s still plenty of smoke.  Firefighters are hoping rain comes to help put out the flames.
