MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – A third man is now charged in a home invasion that happened September 9 in Madison.

Demarcus Travis, 30, was arrested in Tennessee on an unrelated charge.  U.S. Marshals brought him to Madison County, where he was charged in the home invasion.

Travis is being held without bond in the Madison County Detention Center.  Here are his charges:

  • Attempt to Commit Murder
  • First-degree robbery
  • First-degree burglary
  • Theft of property
  • First-degree assault

Two others are charged in the case, Brandon O’Neal Grays and Nicholas Manuel White.  Police say the two assaulted and robbed a woman and her 4-year-old child near Wall Triana Highway and Liberty Drive.

Police say the crime was an act of attempted murder.  Madison Police say more charges could be coming.
