Alabama Avoiding SEC Title Game Pressure

For the first time in Alabama’s history, they will play someone other than Florida in the SEC Championship game. Georgia brings several challenges to the Tide including the nation’s top ranked passer in Aaron Murray. The biggest challenges for both teams however, might be avoiding an enormous amount of pressure associated with this game. The winner will move on to face Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship, and the loser might fall out of BCS Bowl contention all together.

Nick Saban knows all about the pressure involved in this game and his players say he’s doing a good job helping them through it.

“Coach put’s so much pressure on us in practice that when we go into the game it’s easy, ” Tide linebacker Nico Johnson said about his teams preparation.
