Auburn Coaching Search narrows

The list of candidates to be Auburn’s next head football coach sits at around a half dozen. Three of which, Bobby Petrino, Gus Malzahn, and Jimbo Fisher are former coordinators at Auburn making them obvious candidates.

One report surfaced Wednesday saying Louisville head coach Charlie Strong was the first to interview for the position, however Strong denied any truth to the story.

Auburn took 10 days to hire gene Chizik back in 2008 and some experts think it will take just as long this time around.
