Twelve Bulldogs Named To College Sports All-SWAC Team

Normal, Ala. – 

As the end of the college regular season winds down the awards and accolades begin to roll out.  On Tuesday 12 Bulldog football players were named to the College Sports Madness All-SWAC team.
Running back Kaderius Lacey and offensive lineman Jamal Johnson-Webb were named to the first team.  Quarterback Deaunte Mason, offensive lineman Justin Goodrich, defensive back Derrick Harris was named to the second team.  Wide receiver Montarius Smith, offensive lineman Joaquenssi Eugene and Alan Cruz, defensive linemen Preston Nelson and Tim Tillman, linebacker Montay Rover and defensive back Vernon Marshall were named to the third team.
“Congratulations to all the players that were named to the all-conference team,” head coach Anthony Jones stated. “Any time your name is mention as one of the elite players in any conference it’s an honor.”
“The guys worked hard this year and deserve to be recognized,” said Jones.  “Once again I wish them congratulations.”
