Alabama Suffers Injuries Before SEC Championship
Tuscaloosa, Ala. (WHNT) – Despite a 49-0 victory, the Iron Bowl was not a complete success for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
During the second quarter, wide receiver Kenny Bell broke his leg and needed help to get off the field. Nick Saban says he will be out five to six weeks.
Saban must now figure out how to supplement that position given he has just five players who he says have any significant experience. He could burn a redshirt for Chris Black, given how doctors have cleared him. But Saban has not committed to playing Black for Saturday’s contest against Georgia.
