Police Look for Suspect in Raceway Robbery
ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — Athens Police responded to a robbery at the Raceway gas station on U.S. 72 around 4:30 Sunday morning.
The clerk told police that a black male wearing blue jeans, a white tee-shirt, white tennis shoes, and dark sunglasses entered the store and demanded money.

According to police, the offender indicated he had a pistol but the clerk did not see one. The offender fled on foot.
