Walmart Shoppers Shove Their Way To Savings (With Video)

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) – There was at least one instance of pushing and shoving to get to pre-Black Friday deals at the Athens Walmart store.

It happened at 8PM just as a popular video game went on sale. There were no apparent injuries and there was a strong presence of Athens Police officers on hand to keep shoppers from getting out of hand.

A statement from Walmart’s corporate headquarters says this year’s was the company’s best Black Friday event ever.
