Sparkman Wins Columbia Thanksgiving Tournament

Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) – Luther Tiggs wanted a new challenge, so he left Sparkman to become James Clemens’ first boys varsity basketball coach.  But just one week into the season, he got to face his former team.

The Senators and Jets faced off for the Columbia Thanksgiving Tournament Championship.  Lamonte Turner had a monster third quarter, scoring both inside and outside.  Alfonso Johnson tried to keep things competitive, but Sparkman earns the victory 53-42.
