HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – People are starting to talk about holiday shopping and Black Friday, even though it’s still a week away. Things are already in full swing at Bridge Street Town Centre, where Huntsville’s official Christmas Tree will be lit tonight.
Musical entertainment begins at 4:30 p.m. and the tree will be lit at 6 p.m. The tree is located on the north end of Bridge Street, near Monaco Pictures.
The event will feature performances by the Huntsville High School Choir, Harmony Home Music Studio Flute and Violin Choir, the Brent Morgan Band, the James Clemens High School Choir and Victorian Carolers.
While you’re at Bridge Street tonight or any day through the holiday season, drop by the Kids To Love Gift Wrapping location. It’s next to Gymboree. You can get gifts wrapped and make a donation to support Kids To Love’s Christmas For The Kids drive, which provides gifts to foster children right here in the Tennessee Valley.
