Sheriff: Morgan County Sex Offender Failed To Register
(WHNT) – A Morgan County man is charged with failing to register his location. Dana Edward Aills is a convicted sex offender.
Sheriff Ana Franklin said Aills, 37, was arrested November 5 and placed in the Morgan County Jail. He is charged with ‘failure to register quarterly’ and ‘failure to notify a move’.
Sheriff Franklin said Investigator Eric Fields found evidence that Aills had failed to register in October 2012, as scheduled with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.
Aills had also recently moved away from his home of record without notifying the Sheriff’s office. Bond was set at $2,500.00 for each charge.
