Shoals Crimestoppers: Woman Opens Fake Accounts, Goes On Shopping Spree
Florence Police say a woman goes on a shopping spree – racking up more than $10,000 worth of purchases.
Then the stores find out, the woman won’t be paying the bill, and the stores are out the money.
The woman hands over her license to open up several store credit cards. The cards get approved, and the woman goes on a shopping spree. The only problem: Florence police say she used someone else`s identity`s to open the account.
According to detectives, the woman also tried to open accounts at ten other stores, including, Kohls, K-Mart, and Home Depot.
In this week’s Shoals Area Most Wanted, Florence Police are looking for two men on the run.
William Littleton has warrants out for his arrest for domestic violation, strangulation, and harassment.
According to detectives, Littleton attacked a woman on two separate occasions. Littleton`s last known address was Carver Heights in Florence.
Next detectives need your help finding Cedric Thompson. According to police, Thompson attacked another man with a pool cue. Detectives say Thompson hit the man in the head and face before running off.
