Two-Vehicle Crash in Cullman County Claims 2 Lives
CULLMAN COUNTY, (WHNT) — Alabama State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning that claimed the lives of two men and left a woman injured.
The wreck happened at 8 a.m. on Alabama 69, about 11 miles south of Dodge City.
According to troopers, 34-year-old Charles Shannon Box of Cullman was driving a Chevrolet pick-up truck when it collided with a Kia Amanti, driven by 75-year-old Billy Fray Mays of Hanceville.
Authorities say both drivers were killed.
73-year-old Dorothy Mays was a passenger is Mays’ vehicle and was injured.
Her condition is unknown at this time.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
