MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — Madison Police have arrested two 16-year-olds who escaped from Three Springs School on Tuesday.  The teens were arrested around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday in a field off Production Avenue, just north of Madison Boulevard.

Police say an employee of the Rocket City Deli found the two teens hiding in a delivery vehicle when he reported for work.  The teens quickly ran away.  Madison Police chased them and caught them a short time later.  No one was hurt.

The teens escaped from the juvenile detention facility Tuesday around 9:00 a.m.  A K-9 unit and a helicopter were called in to help with the effort.

One of the teens is charged with harassment and assault. The other is charged with a probation violation after a robbery.
