The Legends Round Table
Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) – John Stallworth’s influence in professional football has lasted far beyond the moment he retired from the sport almost 25 years ago.
He asked two of his former Pittsburgh Steeler teammates to come to the Rocket City and speak to young athletes about their life experiences.
Both “Mean Joe” Greene and Mel Blount agreed. The event was called “The Legends Round Table” and both athletes and fans packed the VBC to help raise money for the John Stallworth Foundation.
Before the event, all three spoke to WHNT about the messages they hoped to impart to the next generation of athletes.
