Two Arrested In Harvest Man’s Murder, Third Person Sought

HARVEST, Ala. (WHNT) – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people, one of them a juvenile, in the murder of a 20-year-old Harvest man.

Elante D. Stewart, 19, is charged with first-degree murder.  A juvenile is in custody, also charged with murder.  Both of their bonds are set at $75,000 each.

Deputies say another juvenile is being sought for questioning.

Stewart and the juvenile in custody are accused of shooting 20-year-old Corey Murray on Sunday night outside a home on Beaconcrest Circle in Harvest.  He was shot in the buttocks.  Murray was rushed to Huntsville Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Murray lived on Gayhart Drive in Madison.
