(WHNT) – Election Day is here. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We get lots of phone calls in the newsroom on election day – and many times, these questions can be answered ahead of time.
One of the most common questions is from someone who’s not certain about their polling location. You can find the answer at AlabamaVotes.gov. Enter your name, date of birth and county and check updated information.

Remember to bring voter ID to the polls. A driver’s license is the most common one, but here are other acceptable forms of ID.
The Alabama Secretary of State’s office has a unit dedicated to stopping voter fraud. You can report alleged voter fraud at StopVoterFraudNow.com or call 1-800-274-VOTE (8683).
