Bulldogs Fall In The 71st Magic City Classic
Birmingham, Ala.(WHNT) – Alabama A&M had a three point lead early in the second quarter. They trailed by ten and looked to have all of the momentum in the 71st Magic City Classic.
Then, it all fell apart.
Alabama State responded with a 21-0 run and went on to beat the Bulldogs 31-3 in front of an announced crowd of 58,702.
One reason for the collapse was in rushing. The Bulldogs managed just 29 yards on the ground. They also allowed four sacks. The Hornets 155 rushing yards and allowed just one sack.
Alabama A&M plays its final home game of the 2012 season November 3rd against Southern University.
