Man’s Body Found in Hazel Green

HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WHNT) – Several law enforcement agencies are at the scene following the discovery of a body in Hazel Green near the Tennessee state line.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s office, a Huntsville Utilities crew working in the area found the body around 8 a.m.  It is that of a black male.  The crew found his body in the 300 block of B H Reeves Road, in some woods.

No word yet on how the man died.  The man was identified as Warren Crutcher, the person of interest who was sought in a multi-state murder investigation.

U.S. Marshals, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office are all at the scene.
