Two Die In Wreck Near Rainsville On County Road 44

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle  wreck around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

According to officials, the wreck happened about five miles southeast of Rainsville on County Road 44 in DeKalb County.

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Jonathan Bryan Ash, was killed in the wreck.

The passenger, 31-year-old Jeffery Porch, also died.

The vehicle involved was a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina.

Jonathan Bryan Ash was from Fyffe, and Jeffery Porch was from Rainsville.
