University of Alabama Suspends All Fraternity Pledge Activities
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Big news out of the University of Alabama. As of right now, all fraternity pledge activities have been suspended. That’s according the University’s student-run newspaper, The Crimson White.
The CW tweeted a few quotes from UA’s Assistant Dean of Students on this matter that pretty much sums it all up.
Dr. Lowell Davis told The Crimson White “No ‘Hell Week’ is to take place.”
"No hell week is to take place, and I quote, if hell week takes place there will be hell to pay, from the Univ. of Ala." - Lowell Davis

"No pledge gear, no pledge activities. We're asking to initiate new members if your national organizations will allow." - Lowell Davis
