Auburn, Ala. – The Auburn Tigers concluded their on-field preparations with a Thursday afternoon workout at the Auburn Athletics Complex Practice Fields. The Tigers will leave Friday for Nashville and their Saturday matchup with Vanderbilt. Saturday’s game, at a sold-out Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, will kickoff at 11:21 a.m. CT.
The all-time series, which dates back through 1893, is tied 20-20-1. Auburn has won 13 of the last 14 meetings between the schools.
“There’s no magic formula to it,” said Auburn head coach Gene Chizik of his team’s week of practice. “You have to get up every day, and you have to make a conscious choice to come in and work. I am proud of our team because every practice that we’ve had, they’ve really tried to stay on track on the track to improvement. We’re looking forward to another opportunity to go out there and play.”
The Tigers return home to Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday, October 27, hosting Texas A&M on Military Appreciation Day. That game, with a 6 p.m. CT kickoff.
