Franklin County Teacher’s Trial Delayed Again
RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Another trial date has been set for a former Franklin County teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
It’s the fifth time this year for Kimberly Bynum’s trial to be delayed. Her new trial date is set for December 10.
Bynum is a former Vina High School teacher charged with the new state law that forbids a school employee from having sexual relations with a student. She’s the first Alabama teacher to face this charge.
A pre-trial hearing is set for November 20.
