Morning Wreck On Memorial Parkway Causes Major Traffic Delay

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Drivers were stalled for more than an hour on Memorial Parkway Thursday morning due to a wreck in the southbound lane.

The five-vehicle wreck happened just north of the Clinton Avenue overpass, not quite to the I-565 interchange.

The wreck was a chain reaction.  Police say no one was seriously hurt.

Traffic was backed up in the southbound lanes, and then onto I-565.
