Single Vehicle Wreck Leaves One Dead

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Alabama State Troopers are investigating a fatal wreck on Mitchell Moore Road in Hazel Green.

It happened south of Bobo Section Road around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday.

When deputies arrived on the scene, the driver had been ejected from the car and died as a result of injuries.  Troopers say the driver lost control, left the road, went airborne, went in and out of a culvert, and struck a tree.

The investigation is still ongoing.
