Athens Gets Grant Money for New Pipe Replacement Project

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) –   The city of Athens is embarking on a $700,000 project to fix sewer pipes that are almost 100 years old.  As WHNT News 19′s Beth Jett reports, managers for Athens Utilities say the project will take 10 years and could help the city double in size.
