BBB To Hold ‘Secure Your ID’ Day On Saturday, October 13

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Have you been saving boxes or bags of old credit card statements, bills or other personal documents?  This Saturday, October 13 you can get rid of these papers safely and securely.

The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama will hold a community ‘Secure Your ID’ day.  The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Davidson Center parking lot at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.

Secure Destruction will shred documents and destroy hard drives on-site.  The event is free.  There’s a limit of three boxes or bags of personal documents.

The ‘Secure Your ID’ event is sponsored by Secure Destruction, Knology, WHNT News 19 and Better Business Bureau of North Alabama.  For more information, call 256-533-1640.
