Fire Destroys Home in Lacey’s Spring

LACEY’S SPRING, Ala. (WHNT) — Fire destroyed a woman’s home Tuesday morning on Dwight Road in Lacey’s Spring.  The homeowner was not home at the time. 

The fire started around 6:30 a.m.  The cause is under investigation.

Initially, it was believed the homeowner’s dog died in the fire.  Good news, though — firefighters say the dog is fine.
