Accused Toomer’s Trees Poisoner Harvey Updyke Has Bond Revoked

LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Harvey Updyke appeared in court Thursday in Lee County.  During that hearing, a judge revoked Updyke’s bond and he was taken into custody. 

The move comes after Updyke was arrested in Hammond, Louisiana on a charge of making terrorist threats.

The charge stems from an apparent dispute at a home improvement store.

Updyke’s trial in the case of the poisoning of the trees at Toomer’s Corner is set to begin next week.
