Huntsville City Schools To Hold Parent Meetings Sept. 18 – Oct. 3

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville City Schools will host parent workshops over the next few weeks to explain the new digital curriculum.  You’re invited to come and get answers to questions you have.

All parent workshops begin at 6:30 p.m.  If your child is in elementary or middle school, please attend the meeting at the high school in your district.

Here is the schedule:

  • 9/18 Tuesday – Huntsville High School
  • 9/19 Wednesday – Grissom High School
  • 9/24 Monday – Columbia High School
  • 9/25 Tuesday – Lee High School/New Century Technology High School
  • 9/26 Wednesday – Butler High School
  • 10/3 Wednesday – Johnson High School

 

At the workshops, Pearson will demonstrate a new Weebly site set up for parents and students.  There will also be breakout sessions for elementary, middle and high school where a teacher and student will demonstrate the digital curriculum.

If a parent cannot attend their designated high school parent meeting, please attend another meeting.
