HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – If you drive by the U.S. Space and Rocket Center on Friday evening and notice police and fire vehicles, don’t let it alarm you.  The center will host a mock disaster at 6 p.m.

The event will take place at Aviation Challenge, and will involve Huntsville Police, Huntsville Fire, HEMSI, MedFlight and other emergency services.

This is only a drill.  It’s part of the Be Ready Camp currently underway at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and Aviation Challenge.

The drill will last more than an hour.
