Developing: One Man Dead After Huntsville Shooting

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – One person is dead after a Friday night shooting in Huntsville.

Police responded to a call of shots fired at the 3100 block of Gayhart Drive around 8:00 p.m. Friday.  Police found a man with a gunshot wound in the street upon arrival.  He was transported to Huntsville Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators say they are interviewing witnesses and continue to search for the shooter.
