Brother of Marcell Dareus, Two Others Murdered In Pelham

PELHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – A shooting near Birmingham over the weekend left three young men dead, including the brother of former Alabama football player and current Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus.

This, according to WIAT-CBS42. 

Dareus’ brother, 19-year-old Simeon Gilmore, was killed Sunday afternoon along with two others.  The crime happened at a home in Pelham.

Police arrested 20-year-old Jon Staggs and charged him with three counts of capital murder.

WIAT reports Dareus will travel to Birmingham for a viewing today and the funeral tomorrow.
