Siegelman Reports To Prison Today

OAKDALE, La. (WHNT) -  Today, former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman is due to report to prison in Louisiana to finish his prison sentence after an unsuccessful six-year battle to overturn his conviction in a 2006 bribery case.

His family, friends and supporters continue to try to lobby for a presidential pardon. 

Last month, U.S. District Judge Mark Fuller cut Siegelman’s sentence by 10 months, leaving him with 69 months left to serve in prison.
