Huntsville Police Investigating Several Purse-Snatchings
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police are looking into a string of purse snatchings at various retail stores.
There have been seven cases reported to police in a little more than two weeks. The first was August 26 and the most recent was Monday, September 10.
The incidents have been reported at Parkway Place, Bridge Street, the large shopping area on Carl T. Jones and Madison Square Mall.
Police say most incidents happened between 5 and 7 p.m.
Dr. Harry Hobbs, spokesperson for the Huntsville Police Department, said the Robbery Task Force is aggressively pursuing these cases.
