Huntsville Chef Featured on CBS Saturday Morning
Huntsville, AL (WHNT) — A local chef from Huntsville is gaining national attention for the Tennessee Valley. Chef James Boyce was featured on CBS This Morning on Saturday during “The Dish” segment with co-hosts Rebecca Jarvis and Anthony Mason.
Chef Boyce is well-known around Huntsville but now, he is making Huntsville well-known for its culture and southern cuisine.
Chef Boyce, a New York native, relocated to Huntsville with his family to start his new company, Boyce Restaurant Concepts.
“We were inspired by the sense of community. We had two small children, and we thought Huntsville was great,” said Boyce.
He shared his favorite dish, herb-crusted rack of lamb with shrimp and grits, on the nationally televised program.
Boyce currently owns and operates five restaurants in the Huntsville area: Cotton Row, Commerce Kitchen, James Steakhouse, Pane e Vino Pizzeria , and Cafe Alana Shay.
