Update: Power Restored In South Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Utilities crews have restored power following an outage in south Huntsville Thursday morning.

Joe Gehrdes, spokesperson for Huntsville Utilities, says the outage was caused by failed equipment.

The outage knocked out power along Logan Drive and Lily Flagg Road, as well as Meadowbrook Drive and Hogan Drive on the east side of Memorial Parkway.
