Drug Agents Raid Franklin County Apartment, Children and Drugs Found Inside

RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Franklin County drug units raid a Russellville home.  The sheriff says, three young children have been removed.

Inside a Washington Court apartment, deputies found more than a pound of marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say Natasha Webb and her boyfriend Brian White had drugs inside the home with Webb’s children, ages two, six, and 12.

“I mean I wouldn`t put my kids through anything like that and I don`t know who would,” said Franklin County Sheriff, Shannon Oliver.  “There is some danger to it and basically the deals and the type of people that comes in and out, there`s no telling what could happen.

Sheriff Oliver believes the drug activity and possible distribution had been going on inside the apartment for awhile.  He says an informant tipped off deputies and its then, the drug unit got a search warrant.

Webb’s kids were placed into the custody of the Department of Human Resources

Both Webb and White are charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and endangering a child.
