Free Flu Shot Clinics Sept. 17-25 In Madison County

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Madison County Health Department has scheduled free flu shot clinics for all Madison County citizens.

These vaccinations will be given to any citizen 6 months of age and older.

Here are the dates, times and locations for the flu shot clinics:

Monday, September 17
9am – 1pm  — Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church, 1917 Brandontown Road, Huntsville

Tuesday, September 18
9am – 1pm  — District 3E Shed, 4273 Highway 72E, Brownsboro

Wednesday, September 19
10am – Noon and 1-4pm — Monrovia Community Center, 254 Allen Drake Drive, Huntsville

Thursday, September 20
9am – 2pm  — District 1 County Shed, 9457 Moores Mill Road, New Market

Tuesday, September 25
11am – 4pm  — Madison City Council Chambers, 100 Hughes Road, Madison

The flu shots are offered FREE to all citizens on a first-come, first-serve basis.  However, seniors are asked to bring their Medicare , Medicaid or Blue Advantage cards.

Please do not come to these clinics if:

  • You have a bad cold or cough or fever
  • You have Guillain-Barre Syndrome
  • A severe egg allergy
  • In the past, you’ve had an allergic reaction to a flu shot
