Stars Drop Third-Straight To Biscuits
Montgomery, Ala. - The Montgomery Biscuits book their trip to the Southern League playoffs on Saturday night by beating the Huntsville Stars by a score of 11-4 at Riverwalk Stadium. Stars starting pitcher Josh Stinson fell to 11-9 on the year after giving up four runs in four innings of work. On offense, Hunter Morris went 3-for-4 with a homer, double and a RBI. With his 40th double on the year, Morris is now tied for the Stars single-season record in 2B with Corey Hart and D.T Cromer. Aside from Morris, right fielder Brock Kjeldgaard had two hits, including a two-run homer.
Game four of a five-game series will take place on Sunday as the Stars will send Evan Anundsen (5-8, 5.03 ERA) to the hill. First pitch is at 2:05 P.M.
