Blanche School Closed For Rest Of Day Due To Small Fire

TAFT, Tenn. (WHNT) – Classed ended early Thursday at a school in Lincoln County due to a small fire in the bathroom.

Blanche School, in Taft, was evacuated around 12 p.m. due to a report of smoke. Everyone got out safely.

A volunteer fire department is located next to the school and responded within moments.

Blanche School is on Ardmore Highway in Taft.
