Police Arrest Lee Student; Accused Of Smoking Pot At School

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A ninth grader at Lee High School has been arrested.

Huntsville Police say a security officer caught the teenager smoking marijuana in a school restroom. 

A school resource officer made the arrest and took the student to the Neaves-Davis Detention Center.

The incident happened either during the day Wednesday, or Thursday morning.  WHNT News 19 is working to clarify the time frame.
