Overnight Wreck Sends Three to Huntsville Hospital

Huntsville, AL (WHNT) — Huntsville Police responded to an accident around 1 a.m. this morning on Meridian Street near Whitney Avenue.

Police say a vehicle hit another vehicle from behind while traveling northbound on Meridian Street.

According to officials, the vehicle left the road, hit a tree, and then flipped upside down.

The drivers of both automobiles were taken to Huntsville Hospital with minor injuries. One passenger was taken to Huntsville Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
