Mitt Romney Announces Paul Ryan as Running Mate

Huntsville, AL (WHNT) – Romney announced Paul Ryan, a 7-term congressman from Wisconsin, for his Vice-Presidential running mate Saturday morning in Norfolk, Virginia.

 

The announcement was made at the Nauticus Museum in Norfolk, which is home to the U.S.S. Wisconsin.  

 

Mitt Romney called several of the Republicans on his vice presidential shortlist on Friday evening to tell them he has selected a running mate and to thank them for assisting with his campaign, a Republican familiar with the calls told CNN.
