HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville Madison County Veterans Memorial will host a series of open houses later this month.
Maybe you have questions like these:
- What does the Memorial theme represent?
- Why was black granite used?
- What does the flowing water represent?
Here’s your chance to get answers to those questions. For three Thursday evenings in August visit the memorial and let tour guides in period military uniforms and veterans groups educate you on all aspects of this great memorial while being entertained by patriotic music.
Veterans Memorial representatives will be on hand to answer questions about brick pavers and other fund raising efforts. Brick paver purchase forms and other memorabilia will be available.
The open houses will be held the last three Thursdays in August, the 16th, 23rd, & 30th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
