Army Materiel Command Has New Commanding General

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. (WHNT) – In a change of command ceremony at Redstone Arsenal, General Ann E. Dunwoody handed over control of the Army Materiel Command to Lt. General Dennis Via.

Via was also promoted to the rank of four-star general.  He had previously served as the U.S. Army Materiel Command’s Deputy Commanding General.

Via’s wife, Linda and sons Brian and Bradley were in attendance.
